Jamshedpur, Sept 7: Devotees, while observing government’s COVID protocols, packed the Mahalakshmi, Anjani Mata, Rani Sati Dadi Mandir at Thakurbari Road in Sakchi on the auspicious occasion of Bhado Amavasya where Mangalpath was organized on Tuesday by Satyanarayan Marwari Thakurbari Trust. Marwari women of all ages, clad in traditional attires with rich, intricate and beautiful deigns of Henna on their hands, performed the Mangalpath and allied rituals in prayer to Rani Sati Dadi Ji during the religious programme that was conducted between 4 pm and 9 pm.
Mangalpath commenced with Ganesh Vandana followed by stirring bhajans as ode to Dadi ji. The bhajans not only regaled the devotees but put them in a religious trance as they danced and clapped in unison to local bhajan singer Prem Agrawal’s melodious renditions. The devotees chanted adulations to the deity and the temple resonated with their ecstatic fervor.

Earlier, Rekha-Kamal Agarwal, Santosh-Suresh Kauntia, Pushpa-Naresh Sanghi jointly offered prayers as the main hosts. The main attractions of Mangalpath included Rani Sati Dadi’s decoration, Akhand Jyot, Chhappan Bhog offerings and distribution of consecrated food among the devotees.
President Kamal Agarwal, Secretary Pramod Bhalotia, Sunil Agarwal, Suman Agarwal, Dilip Jaluka, Manoj Agarwal, Amit Agarwal, Ankit Agarwal Golu, Sunny Sanghi, Abhishek Agarwal constituted the organizing team ably supported by Goldie, Ankit Modi, Sumit Agarwal, Om Prakash Agarwal, Gaurav Agarwal, Pramod Jaluka, Satish Sharma, Rajkumar Mawandia and others.
