Jamshedpur, Nov 7: SSP Richard Lakra and City SP Karthik S. allegedly denied claims that two suspected terrorists were arrested from Jamshedpur Thursday.
Thursday evening the telephones at different media houses were abuzz with calls confirming the arrest of one terrorist from Azad Nagar area under Mango Police Station and another from Jugsalai.
There was a hoax that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) team had visited Jamshedpur in connection with the investigation of Patna blasts and had arrested alleged terrorists.
SSP said that if the team had visited the place they would have informed the local police and no arrest can be made without the knowledge of local police.
