Jamshedpur: Seventeen-year-old Ashutosh Panigrahi from Jamshedpur, which is called the Iron City of Jharkhand, has done wonders. Despite suffering from autism, he has set a record for solving mathematics addition and multiplication rapidly.
Ashutosh Panigrahi solved 208 questions in 15 minutes. After this achievement, his name has been registered in the India Book of Records. He was also honored with a medal after this achievement.
Ashutosh was asked 101 addition and 107 multiplication questions by the India Book of Records. Ashutosh solved all these in record time.
An event for India Book Records was organized on 10th October at the Indian Abacus Centre, Karandih, Jamshedpur. This testing program was conducted as per the detailed guidelines and criteria laid down by the International Protocol of Records.
During this, representatives of Tata Power, Special Olympics India, Young India, Tatanagar Railway Station and district administration were also present.
Arindam Sengupta, who was present in the role of judge, said that Ashutosh easily solved the mathematics addition and multiplication problems in fifteen minutes. His name has been registered in the India Book of Records. This is the first time a student suffering from autism spectrum disorder has made this record.
Ashutosh’s mother told that he always talked about making records. He solves mathematical addition and multiplication problems easily. He was practicing since three months ago to make the record. We are feeling proud of its success.
It is noteworthy that Ashutosh has been a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya and he has given the 12th examination from Jharkhand Board and has been successful in it.
