Jamshedpur: Nitin Kumar, a standard XII student of Kerala Samajam Model School, Sakchi, who had drowned yesterday in River Swarnarekha, was pronounced dead by doctors at Tata Main Hospital.
His body was recovered by divers yesterday. He had reportedly gone to bathe in the river near the pump house.
His uncle Shyam Prasad said Nitin drowned soon after going into the river. The deceased was a resident of Golmuri Hindu Busti.
