Jamshedpur : The RVS College of Engineering & Technology organized “ Tech Karma” competition in the college auditorium in joint collaboration with the Institution of Engineers, Jamshedpur chapter.
It was a project event in which 23 project teams from the department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) took part.
The project titled “Three phase fault analysis with auto reset or permanent trip” got the first prize. Jiren Soy Neel Nayan Bodra, Snehlata Tigga and Ranjita Kumari were the members of the project team. The project was prepared under the guidance of Prof. Vikram Saxena.
The project titled “ Design and Devlopment of Solar Cell for lumination of street light” secured the second position in the event. The project was prepared by Anup Ranjan, Ashish Upadhyay, Deepak Singh and Anjana Kumari, under the guidance of Prof. Manmeet Bhatia.
The group of Sargam Kumar, Sumit Jha, Shashi Bhushan and Abhishek Bhagat prepared the project “Minimization of Penalty in Industries by using Automatic Power Factor Correction Unit” under the guidance of Prof. Alok Ranjan. This project was declared thirdin the competition.
R.K.Singh, Superintending Engineer (Department of Electricity), Govt.of Jharkhand was the Chief guest on this occasion.
The panel of judges for the project competition comprised of three members- . K. Shakti Murugeshwaran , DGM, Usha Martin, . V.K Sharma ( Retired ADM) Project Tisco and the Principal of the college Dr. Sukomal Ghosh. The treasurer of RVS trust .
Shatrughna Singh, the Director of the college Prof. (Dr.) M.P.Singh, Heads of the departments and a large no. of Students were Present on this occasion.
