Jamshedpur, March 28: Team Black defeated Team Green in the final to win the Tennis ball cricket tournament organised by the Press Club of Jamshedpur.
At the final match played in Armoury Ground on Tuesday morning, team black decided to ball after winning the toss. Batting first Team green scored 72 runs in the allotted 12 overs.
Chasing a stiff target of 73 runs, team Black riding on the 24 runs scored by their captain Kaushal Singh beat team Green with three overs to spare. Kaushal Singh was also awarded the trophy for Man of the tournament.
