DAV Bistupur Hosts Capacity Building Programme for 285 Teachers

Jamshedpur, June 17: DAV Public School, Bistupur, is hosting a three-day Capacity Building Programme for in-service teachers of Jharkhand Zone-E from June 16 to 18 under the mandatory five-day DAV CAE Training Programme. The initiative aims to enhance teaching skills and promote innovative classroom practices among educators from Nursery to Class XII.

The training programme covers a wide range of subjects, including English, Hindi, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Social Science, Business Studies, Economics, Accountancy, EEDP, Art, Music, Dance, and Sports. Sessions are being conducted by peer teachers serving as Master Trainers who have received specialized training through DAV CAE.

The programme commenced with the rendition of the DAV Gaan, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising the spread of knowledge and positivity.

Addressing the participants, ARO-cum-Principal of DAV Public School, Bistupur, Pragya Singh stressed the importance of continuous learning and collaboration among teachers. She encouraged educators to adopt innovative teaching strategies and classroom activities that help students better understand concepts and improve learning outcomes. She also urged teachers to engage in self-reflection, develop awareness, and continually upgrade their professional skills.

A total of 285 teachers from seven DAV schools under Jharkhand Zone-E are participating in the workshop.

The training sessions focus on innovative teaching methodologies, experiential learning, competency-based education, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Subject experts and resource persons are conducting specialised sessions aimed at strengthening concept clarity and enhancing the overall quality of classroom teaching.
