Jamshedpur, Sept 14: DBMS English School successfully organized a three-day Art of Living workshop for its teachers and staff from 11th to 13th September 2025. The workshop focused on promoting holistic well-being, inner peace, and renewed professional enthusiasm among educators.
The Art of Living program, founded in 1981 by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, emphasizes the importance of a stress-free mind and a violence-free society as the foundation for global peace. In line with this vision, the sessions at DBMS English School aimed to inspire teachers to instill integrity, morality, and higher values in students.
The workshop was conducted by Jhanvi Goswami and her team from Jamshedpur, along with educationist Muralidhar Koteshwar from Bengaluru. Around 120 teachers actively participated in practices such as three-stage pranayama, bhastrika, Om chanting, and the Sudarshan Kriya. These activities were designed to help educators achieve inner satisfaction and channel positive energy into their teaching.
The Art of Living Educators Program focuses on equipping teachers with tools to manage stress, improve physical and mental health, and strengthen emotional balance. It also provides insights into student behavior and communication techniques, helping teachers connect better with children and parents.
The school believes such initiatives not only enhance the personal well-being of educators but also create a positive, value-driven learning environment. DBMS English School remains committed to nurturing holistic growth alongside academic excellence.
