Jamshedpur, September 7: Sir Syed Public School, Jugsalai celebrated Teacher’s Day on September 6 with great enthusiasm. The event was organized by students of class 10. Variety of performances, by students of different classes expressing their gratitude and love for their teachers, were performed. The Director Sajid Habib, Vice Principal Rukhsan Habbib along with teachers Sanjay Kumara, Mithun Chakrabarty, Tarannum, Saleha and Afreen Raza graced the occasion with their presence.
The celebration began with a heartfelt speech by a student followed by a serious of vibrant performances like an act on the theme ‘The Lion and the Rat’ were put up by UKG students, MD Arsh, MD Sufiyan, Ahmad Aaram Tanvir, MD Imamul, MD Sajid Hussain, Suhani Perveen, Gausia Perveen, Ariba Perveen and Maisha Siddiqui. A nursery Rhyme ‘Two Little Hand’ was performed by Anabia Naaz, Shariq Hasan Shah, Mohammad Sufiyan, Mahira Ali, Aliza Gulshan, Mohammad Sohail Ali and Saheb Jaan. Another catchy and trending Rhyme ‘Laal Tamatar’ were performed by students of LKG, Azra Ali, Rabiya Perveen, Shanaya Kaynat, Sufiya Perveen, Md Aavesh, Shehnawaz and Arsalan Ali.
Ifa Siddique, Taiba, Ayat, Afiya, Shahista, Fauzia, Kahkasha, Rehana and Afifa students of class 2 and 3 came up with a play on ‘health Benefits’. Environment Awareness song, an act on ‘Jeevan Bahut Anmol hai’ and a skit on ‘Taarak Mehta ka Toota Chasma’ were also presented by the students creating a cheerful atmosphere.
The teachers were also given handmade cards and tokens of appreciation from the students. The celebration ended with smiles on everyone’s face leaving both the teachers and students filled with joy.
