Jamshedpur, Sept 5: Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm, honoring the dedication and invaluable contribution of teachers in shaping young minds.
The celebration was graced by Chairman Akhilesh Dubey, Hon. Secretary Dr. D.P. Shukla, Principal Sangeeta Singh, Vice Principals Rakhi Mitra and Bindu Ahuja, along with members of the school’s managing committee.
The program began with a welcome address by Anikek Das, followed by the felicitation of teachers under several categories including the Innovative Teacher Award, Spread Your Wings Award, Silent Shoulder Award, Excellent Teacher Award, and Highlighting the School Stories Award. The awards celebrated teachers’ creativity, commitment, and contribution to the school community.
Students made the day memorable with a vibrant cultural program. The school choir filled the atmosphere with soulful music, while dance and stage performances expressed the love and gratitude of students towards their teachers.
Principal Sangeeta Singh expressed heartfelt appreciation to the managing committee, teachers, students, and parents for their support. She emphasized the vital role of teachers as role models and nation-builders, inspiring students to excel academically and grow into responsible citizens.
