Srinath University Jamshedpur celebrates Teachers’ Day

Jamshedpur, Sep 5: Srinath University, Jamshedpur, celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm to honor the invaluable role of teachers in shaping society and guiding students toward success.

Floral tributes were paid to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, former President of India, philosopher, and educationist. Speakers recalled his vision for education and acknowledged how his ideas continue to inspire the academic world.

The celebration was graced by Chancellor Sukhdeo Mahato, Trustee Member Anita Mahato, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. S.N. Singh, Registrar Dr. Moushumi Mahato, Dean of Administration J. Rajesh, and Associate Dean of Academics Dr. Bhavya Bhushan. In their addresses, they highlighted the vital role of teachers as nation-builders who shape not only students’ futures but also the progress of society.

A special highlight was the participation of faculty members and teachers from other institutions under the Sandhya Sambhu Educational Trust, including Srinath College of Education and Srinath Public School. Their presence added to the grandeur of the occasion.

The auditorium resonated with applause as Chancellor Sukhdeo Mahato, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. S.N. Singh, and Trustee Member Anita Mahato felicitated teachers and professors with shawls and mementos in recognition of their dedication to education.

In his keynote address, the Chancellor said, “Teachers are not only knowledge providers but true guides who shape the destiny of students. The progress of this university is credited to their dedication.” The Vice Chancellor encouraged teachers to adopt modern teaching methods and technology to keep pace with today’s changing educational landscape.
