Jamshedpur: Members of Tayo Sangharsh Samiti have hailed the state government for reportedly adopting a stern stance on the issue of closure of Tayo Company.
The outfit leader SN Singh, while addressing a meeting of the outfit held at Arunodaya Club in TGS Colony at Gamharia on Wednesday, said, “We are relieved to know that the state government through its labour department has asked Tayo to run the company as usual.
The labour department secretary has told the company officials that they just cannot close the company all of a sudden. This portends good future for us since now there is a basis for the workers to carry on with their agitation to keep the company going for the good of the workers and their families.”
Singh said the Tayo employees were ready to work hard with the company management for the secure future of the company. They said they were also ready to go to the court to appeal for relief.
Among others present at the meeting included TR Pandey, Vijay Pandey and Sudarshan Nayak.
