Tatanagar: Special trains for Diwali and Chhath Puja festivals announced

Jamshedpur, Oct 24:  In anticipation of the Diwali and Chhath Puja festivals, the Indian Railways has announced the operation of special trains to accommodate the increased passenger demand during this festive season. The Durg-Patna-Durg special train, designated as 08793/08794, will depart from Durg on 28th October 2024 at 13:20 hrs and is scheduled to arrive in Patna at 11:30 hrs the following day. The return journey, 08794 Patna-Durg special, will leave Patna on 29th October 2024 at 12:30 hrs, reaching Durg at 12:20 hrs the next day. This train will make stops at several key locations, including Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Hatia, Ranchi, Muri, and Bokaro Steel City, all within the South Eastern Railway (SER) jurisdiction.

Additionally, the Sanatnagar-Santragachi-Sanatnagar special train, identified as 07069/07070, is set to run on specific dates to facilitate passenger travel. It will leave Sanatnagar on 30th October 2024 and 6th November 2024 at 06:20 hrs, arriving in Santragachi at 12:20 hrs the following day. The return service will depart Santragachi on 31st October 2024 and 7th November 2024 at 17:25 hrs, reaching Sanatnagar at 23:50 hrs the next day. This train will also have stoppages at Baleshwar and Kharagpur within the SER jurisdiction.
