Tatanagar: South Eastern Railway to Run Festival Special Trains

Jamshedpur: South Eastern Railway has announced several festival special trains to ease passenger traffic during the festive season.

Train No. 06081/06082 Thiruvananthapuram–Santragachi–Thiruvananthapuram Special will run from September 5 to October 20, 2025. The Thiruvananthapuram–Santragachi service will leave every Friday at 16:20 hrs, reaching Santragachi on the third day at 14:15 hrs. The return will depart every Monday at 14:20 hrs, arriving in Thiruvananthapuram on the third day at 09:55 hrs. The train will halt at Kharagpur and Baleshwar.

Train No. 02841/02842 Shalimar–MGR Chennai–Shalimar Special will run from September 22 to November 26, 2025. The Shalimar–MGR Chennai service will leave every Monday at 18:30 hrs, reaching Chennai the next day at 23:30 hrs. The return will depart every Wednesday at 04:30 hrs, reaching Shalimar the next day at 11:20 hrs. Stoppages include Santragachi, Kharagpur, and Baleshwar.

Train No. 09619/09620 Ajmer–Ranchi–Ajmer Special will run from September 26 to November 30, 2025. The Ajmer–Ranchi service will leave every Friday at 23:05 hrs, reaching Ranchi on the third day at 07:30 hrs. The return will depart every Sunday at 09:15 hrs, reaching Ajmer the next day at 18:35 hrs. The train will halt at Lohardaga.
