Tatanagar: South Bihar Exp, Patna–Bilaspur Exp Trains cancelled due to mega block

Jamshedpur, May 24: The Chakradharpur division of South Eastern Railway has imposed a mega block between Gamharia and Sini junctions from May 21 to June 30, aimed at facilitating the deployment of Track Relaying Train (TRT) machines. This maintenance operation is expected to significantly impact train services, particularly those connected to Jharkhand.

As a result of this block, four major trains will remain cancelled on specific dates during the affected period. The 13288 Ara–Durg South Bihar Express will be cancelled on May 20, 22, 27, 29 and on June 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26. Similarly, the 13287 Durg–Ara South Bihar Express will not run on May 22, 24, 29, 31 and June 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28. The 22843 Bilaspur–Patna Express will be cancelled on May 23, 30 and June 6, 13, 20, 27, while the 22844 Patna–Bilaspur Express will remain non-operational on May 25 and June 1, 8, 15, 22, 29.

Railway authorities have expressed regret for the inconvenience caused and have requested the public’s cooperation. Passengers are strongly advised to confirm train schedules in advance either through the official railway website or by contacting nearby stations before planning their travel during this period.
