Jamshedpur, Oct 26: The Railway Employees Welfare Association convened a meeting to expand and reorganize its structure, led by central president Manoj Mishra. The newly reconstituted committee includes a mix of energetic and young members, aimed at invigorating the association’s efforts. Key appointments feature SP Vishwas as General Secretary, Nagendra Prasad as Treasurer, and Jayendra Raj as Organization Secretary and Spokesperson.
Mishra announced that a total of 35 members have been appointed to various positions, including four vice presidents and four secretaries, representing diverse departments within the railway sector. During the meeting, a unanimous decision was made to initiate a voter awareness campaign in preparation for the upcoming assembly elections in the state.
The complete list of newly appointed committee members includes Manoj Mishra as President, SP Vishwas as General Secretary, and Nagendra Prasad as Treasurer. The vice presidents are Ravi Ranjan (General), Vijay Kumar (Education and related responsibilities), Lallan Prasad (Project and Planning), and Abhishek Shahi. The secretaries include Jayendra Kumar (Organization Secretary, Co-Spokesperson), R.L. Singh, Prem Prakash, and Ruben Kachhap.
Executive members consist of Arup Adhikari, T.K. Pathal, J.L. Mukhi, Lochan Bari, K. Kumar Rao, G.N. Behera, Jitendra Sao, Rakesh Ranjan, A.K. Champiya, Bajrangishree K. Srinivasalu, Ashish Kumar, Ashok Ajnabi, and Vijay Das. Ordinary members include Jitendra Rajak, Dharamveer, Jivan Kumar, Sakala Dev, D.P. Sinha, A.K. Mahato, and Randhir Modi. The advisory board is comprised of P.C. Sahu, IAS, T.V. D.K. Jha, IAS, and other staff members.
