Jamshedpur, Oct 23: Tatanagar Railway Civil Defence is taking significant steps to ensure 100% voting participation among loco pilots in the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly Elections. As part of the Voter Awareness Campaign, loco pilots have been encouraged to take a voter’s pledge, highlighting the importance of their participation in the electoral process.

Officials informed the pilots that those who are unable to vote in person due to duty deployment can fill out Form No. 12 to cast their votes. Acceptable identification documents for voting include departmental ID cards, bank passbooks (without photos), PAN cards, Aadhaar cards, and driving licenses.

The Railway Civil Defence team is actively visiting various railway colonies and departments, raising awareness about the voting process and emphasizing the significance of exercising their democratic rights. This initiative aims to empower railway employees to participate fully in the elections and ensure that their voices are heard in shaping the governance of Jharkhand.
