Jamshedpur, June 3:Tatanagar Railway has announced the allocation of 287 quarters across four categories to branch line railway employees. These quarters, located in seven colonies, will facilitate railway personnel from Adityapur, Gamharia, Asanbani, and Bahalda Haldipokhar routes to reside with their families in Tatanagar.
The allotment list, categorized by the size of quarters, was issued from the Chakradharpur division headquarters. This decision follows discussions between the Railway Men’s Congress and the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) in Chakradharpur regarding the utilization of vacant quarters for branch line employees.
Additionally, efforts are underway to enhance housing facilities for railway staff, with the construction of more than 700 flats in Tatanagar by the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), complementing the existing infrastructure in Adityapur.
