Tatanagar: Mega block in Chakradharpur division, multiple trains cancelled

Jamshedpur: Starting Saturday, the railway authorities have scheduled a five hours block in the Chakradharpur division, leading to the cancellation of several trains. The block will be implemented on the Chakradharpur-Bisra station upline and Jharsuguda-Rourkela station downline. This mega block on the Chakradharpur-Bisra section is slated to take place every Wednesday on January 3rd, 10th, and 17th, from 12 PM to 5 PM, while the Jharsuguda-Rourkela section will experience the block every Saturday on December 30th, January 6th, 13th, and 20th, from 2 PM to 7 PM.

Additionally, the Adra Division will also undergo a rolling block from January 1st to January 7th.

As a result of these mega and rolling blocks, the following trains will be cancelled: Train number 08163/08164 Chakradharpur-Rourkela-Chakradharpur MEMU Special on January 3rd, 10th, and 17th.

Train number 08168/08167 Jharsuguda-Rourkela MEMU on December 30th, January 6th, 13th, and 20th. Train number 18125/18126 Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela Express on December 30th, January 6th, 13th, and 20th. Train number 18109 Tata Itwari Express on December 30th, January 6th, 13th, and 20th, and Train number 18110 Itwari-Tata Express on January 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd. Train number 18175 Hatia-Jhargram MEMU on December 30th, January 6th, 13th, and 20th. Train number 18176 Jhargram-Hatia MEMU on December 31st, January 7th, 14th, and 21st. Train number 08644/08643 Asansol-Adra-Asansol MEMU on January 4th and 6th, and Train number 08647/08648 Adra-Barabhum-Adra MEMU on January 2nd.

Trains to be short terminated are -Train number 03594/03593 Asansol-Purulia-Asansol on January 2nd will only go up to Adra. Train number 08174/08652 Tata-Asansol-Barabhum MEMU on January 7th will only go up to Adra. Train number 18035/18036 Kharagpur-Hatia-Kharagpur on January 2nd will only go up to Adra. Additionally, Train number 18601 Tata-Hatia on January 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th will run via Chakradharpur-Gundavaihar-Muri instead of Purulia-Kustaur-Muri.
