Jamshedpur, Dec 10: Tatanagar – Jammu Tawi Express is set to undergo a substantial upgrade with the introduction of Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches, starting from December 22, 2023, for its departure from Tatanagar and from December 25, 2023, for its journey originating from Jammu Tawi.
The new coach composition is designed to enhance passenger comfort and safety. The revamped lineup includes 1 End on Generator (EOG), 1 LSLRD (LHB Second Class Luggage Rake with Divyangjan Compartment), 2 General Seating (GS) coaches, 1 Pantry Car (PC), 7 Sleeper Class coaches, 6 AC III Tier Economy coaches, and 2 AC II Tier coaches, totaling to 20 LHB coaches.
Passengers can look forward to a more modern and comfortable travel experience with the upgraded amenities offered by the LHB coaches. The move is part of ongoing efforts to improve the overall quality of train services and ensure a safer and more enjoyable journey for passengers traveling between Tatanagar and Jammu Tawi.
