Jamshedpur, Oct 17: In a move set to delight passengers and tourists alike, the Howrah-Rourkela-Howrah Vande Bharat Express will operate with 16 coaches from October 19, up from the earlier 8 coaches.
The train travels via Tatanagar railway station.
The expansion comes in response to the growing demand on this popular semi-high-speed route, promising more seats, enhanced comfort, and a smoother travel experience, especially during peak periods.
Despite the increase in coaches, train timings and stoppages will remain unchanged, ensuring convenience for regular commuters.
Known for its modern amenities, faster travel times, and advanced safety features, the Howrah-Rourkela Vande Bharat continues to be a favorite among travellers.
The addition of new coaches reflects Indian Railways’ commitment to improving passenger services and strengthening connectivity in the region.
Passengers are encouraged to book tickets early to take advantage of the added capacity starting October 19.
