Tatanagar: Howrah-Mumbai Gitanjali Express to run on diverted route

Route changes and cancellations due to line block in Bilaspur Division

Jamshedpur, June 26: Due to a line block in the Bilaspur Division, the Howrah-Mumbai Gitanjali Express will operate on an altered route until July 1, and the Shalimar-Porbandar Express will follow a changed route until June 29. Many passengers are experiencing inconvenience as these trains are being redirected via the Raipur route through Jharsuguda. This change was mandated by the South East Zone due to the line block.

Additionally, the Itwari-Bilaspur Express from Tatanagar has been cancelled until June 30. The Santragachi-Pune Express will remain cancelled until July 1, the Howrah-Pune Azad Hind Express until July 2, the Santragachi-Jabalpur Express until June 27, and the Kurla-Shalimar Gyaneshwari Express until July 1. Furthermore, the Utkal Express and South Bihar Express will operate on adjusted schedules.

The line block is also expected to occur between Santragachi and Sankrail stations near Howrah, affecting the operations of a dozen trains originating from and passing through Tatanagar.
