Jamshedpur, Sept 1: In a move aimed at enhancing passenger convenience and connectivity, Jan Shatabdi Express will now include a stop at Jhargram station in the Kharagpur Division. This decision will be effective until further notice.
Starting from September 6, 2023, Jan Shatabdi Express trains will make scheduled halts at Jhargram Station, benefitting commuters and residents of the region.
12021 Howrah-Barbil Jan Shatabdi Express will make a designated stop at Jhargram Station from September 6.
Similarly, 12022 Barbil-Howrah Jan Shatabdi Express departing from Barbil and heading towards Howrah will also have Jhargram Station as a scheduled stop from September 6.
This development is expected to greatly enhance the accessibility and connectivity for passengers traveling through Jhargram, facilitating smoother and more convenient rail journeys for those residing in and around the region.
