Tatanagar: Durga Puja special train from Oct 19

Jamshedpur, October 15. Train operations are affected in the name of non-interlocking work. Many trains are cancelled on Durga Puja.

More than 30 trains have been canceled in South Eastern Railway.

 Many puja special trains will also be operated. Currently, South Eastern Railway has announced to operate five pairs of puja special trains from October 19 to November 30. Under this, a proposal has been sent to run trains from Chakradharpur division apart from Shalimar, Howrah, Santragachi, Ranchi, Hatia.

Those trains which are more crowded, additional bogies are being added. At present Tata Ernakulam Tata train will be run as puja special. This train is weekly.

Hatia Mangalore Hatia Express train will also be operated weekly. This train from Mangalore will run on Thursday, while from Hatia this train will run on Monday. Hatia Pune Puja Special train will open every Wednesday of the week. This train will leave from Pune every Friday. Santragachi Vasco Da Gama Puja Special train will leave from Santragachi every Thursday of the week. This train will leave from Vasco da Gama station every Sunday. Hatia Pune Puja Special train will leave from Hatia every Wednesday of the week, while on Friday this train will leave from Pune.

 Apart from this, Tata Chhapra Tata special train, Tata Danapur special, Tata to Patna special train will also be operated. Senior DCM of Chakradharpur division said that a proposal has been made for new trains, after getting the approval, steps will be taken keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers.
