Jamshedpur : As part of the ongoing developmental works in Adra Division of South Eastern Railway, a series of adjustments have been made to the train schedule, impacting both railway operations and passengers. Railway authorities have announced the following changes:
Cancellation of Trains: The 08644/08643 Asansol-Adra-Asansol MEMU Special, scheduled for 05.12.23, stands cancelled.
Short Termination/Short Origination of Trains: The 03594/03593 Asansol-Purulia-Asansol MEMU Special, journey commencing on 05.12.2023, will be short terminated at/short originated from Adra.
The 08174/08652 Tatanagar-Asansol-Barabhum MEMU Special, set for 05.12.23, will be short terminated at/short originated from Adra.
The 08680/08679 Adra-Midnapur-Adra MEMU Special, journeys on 05.12.23, 08.12.23 & 10.12.23, will be short terminated at/short originated from Bankura.
The 08680/08679 Adra-Midnapur-Adra MEMU Special, journeys on 07.12.23 & 09.12.23, will be short terminated at/short originated from Chandrakona Road.
Diversion of Trains:The 18601 Tatanagar-Hatia Express, scheduled for journeys on 04.12.23, 06.12.23, 08.12.23 & 09.12.23, will take a diverted route via Chandil-Gunda Bihar.
Passengers are urged to check updated schedules and plan their travel accordingly. Responding to the changes, a commuter stated, “While the disruptions are inconvenient, we understand the necessity for improvement works in the railway infrastructure.” Railway authorities assure that these measures are temporary and aimed at enhancing overall service quality.
