Tatanagar: Bengal man found dead in Howrah-Hatia Express

Jamshedpur: Tatanagar rail police recovered the body of a 56 year-old man, identified as Amitabh Dutta, resident of Sonarpur, 24 Paragana, West Bengal, from Howrah-Hatia Express train in the wee hours of Tuesday.

The deceased was an assistant professor in Ramkrishna Mission University. He was recently transferred, sources said.

Cops said the family members of the deceased suspect foul play in the death. They said the deceased was foaming at his mouth which indicates he had consumed something poisonous. They added that they were waiting for the postmortem report to know the exact cause of death. The body of the passenger has been sent to MGM Medical College.
