Jamshedpur residents meet Jharkhand CM, demand holding tax rollback

Jamshedpur, June 14: Members of Mango Flat and Residential Society Association met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at Project Bhavan in Ranchi and demanded withdrawal of hike in holding tax implemented recently. They handed over a memorandum to the CM and apprised him of their resentment over the hike. They said the hike was arbitrary and unjustified and that it would burn a hole in the pockets of common man and traders.

The outfit members rued the fact that the CM could only spare one minute for them despite having got his appointment through the state Health Minister Banna Gupta. They thanked the Health Minister for being present on the occasion and demanded his support to their cause.
