Jamshedpur, Oct 9: In a move aimed at enhancing passenger convenience, South Eastern Railway has introduced a pantry car facility on Train No. 18111/18112 TATA–Yesvantpur Express from today, October 9.
Providing details, Arun Joshi, Member of the Zonal Railway Users’ Consultative Committee (ZRUCC), South Eastern Railway, Kolkata, said that the new service will greatly benefit long-distance travelers by ensuring the availability of fresh meals and beverages onboard.
Joshi further informed that this demand had been raised prominently during the last two ZRUCC meetings, and the South Eastern Railway administration acted promptly and positively to implement it.
He expressed gratitude to all senior officials of South Eastern Railway for their swift response, noting that the addition of the pantry car will significantly improve the comfort and overall travel experience of passengers on the route.
