Tata Workers Union office to open from Monday

Jamshedpur, July 3: Office of Tata Workers Union (TWU), the recognised workers body of the Tata Steel, will open from July 5 onwards. 
A directive to this effect was issued by TWU general secretary, Satish Kumar Singh which informs that the TWU office will open for employees from 8.30 am  till 1 pm and from 3.30 pm till 7 pm. The union staff will also have to report for duty between 7 am and 11 am and 1.30 pm till 5 pm and both employees and staff would have to abide by Covid guidelines and maintain social distancing. 
Significantly, the TWU office was closed since February till June due to Covid cases. Even the club houses operated by the TWU were also closed as the booking was done at the TWU office and now the club houses which were used for community function and marriage parties can also be opened.
