Jamshedpur, Jan 17: In a significant development ahead of the Tata Workers Union elections, the executive members (committee members) of Tata Steel’s One Supply Chain department gathered to celebrate the birthday of Subrata Sinha, JDC Chairman of the department. Seizing the opportunity, the members convened a meeting to discuss the upcoming elections and declared their full support for “Team Tunnu.” The department, comprising a total of 14 committee members, expressed unity and solidarity, emphasizing their successful collaboration over the past three years.
During the meeting, the committee members highlighted their achievements in the past three years, showcasing a harmonious working relationship without disputes. They voiced optimism about securing victory through mutual cooperation once again in the upcoming elections. In the previous elections, 8 out of the 14 committee members from this department were elected unopposed, showcasing a track record of success.
The meeting, led by Subrata Sinha, also delved into discussions about the election of new members to fill the four vacant seats after the retirement of existing members. The support announced by the One Supply Chain department, comprising 14 committee members, is considered significant in the context of the larger organization with a total of 214 committee members. If this support translates into votes, Team Tunnu could gain a substantial advantage in the elections.
