Jamshedpur, August 15: Tata Workers Union (TWU) celebrated the 79th Independence Day with patriotic fervor through a series of flag hoisting ceremonies across the city. The program began at the Union office, where General Secretary Satish Kumar Singh hoisted and saluted the national flag. Senior Vice President Shahnawaz Alam performed the flag hoisting at the Tata Workers Union Rest House.

The main celebration was held at Bari Maidan, Sakchi, where Union President Sanjeev Kumar Choudhary unfurled the tricolor. On this occasion, Vice President Sanjay Kumar Singh, Assistant Secretary Nitesh Raj, Shyam Babu, Treasurer Amod Kumar Dubey, members of the Union Executive Committee, and employees of Tata Workers Union were present. The event concluded with a pledge to uphold the values of freedom and unity.
