Jamshedpur, November 3: Tata Steel has taken tough stance on sexual harassment, steps were taken in all the plants.
Tata Steel’s MD TV Narendran has taken a very tough stance on sexual harassment at the plant.
While MD cum CEO TV Narendran had bluntly said in MD Online on Thursday that such sexual harassment will not be tolerated under any circumstances, at the same time, apart from Tata Steel’s Jamshedpur plant, Tata Steel Kalinganagar strict steps are also being taken in this regard in Bhubaneswar, Jajpur, Gopalpur, Bamnipal, Sukinda, Cuttack, Paradweep Port and Gomardih Plant.
For this, different committees have been formed everywhere to strictly implement the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act.
A team of officers has been formed in all the plants, which will take action against the culprits, investigate and take steps to prevent such incidents.
