Jamshedpur, Oct 27:Tata Steel OMQ Division General Manager Atul Bhatnagar on Friday said that Tata Steel’s ‘Run-a-thon,’ centered around the theme “Run for a Greener Tomorrow,” is set to take place in Joda, Keonjhar district, on November 26.
This is the first time Tata Steel is organizing the ‘Run-a-thon’ in Joda, and it aims to bring together approximately 5,000 runners from across the country to showcase their dedication to a healthier and more environmentally friendly future. During the event, the ‘Run-a-thon T-shirt’ was launched.
The event, will be held in collaboration with the Odisha Athletic Association. Three race categories: 10 km, 7 km, and 5 km. A total prize pool of Rs 5,67,000 has been allocated.
Registration for participants, both online and offline, began on October 25.
Also present were Tata Steel Joda Head Rajesh Kumar, Runa Rajeev Kumar, Tulsidas, and other senior officials.
