Inaugural Archery Premier League to run from Oct 2-12
Jamshedpur, Sep 29: After the grand team launch, the excitement continues as Chero Archers, Tata Steel’s franchise in the inaugural Archery Premier League (APL), announce their full squad, match schedule, kit launch, and preparations for the season ahead.
Tata Steel’s Legacy in Archery
At Tata Steel, archery is more than just a sport – it’s part of who we are. Through the Tata Archery Academy, we’ve been nurturing talent for decades. We’ve produced 9 Olympians, 3 Dronacharya awardees, 1 Lifetime Dronacharya awardee, and over 150 international archers. Our athletes have won medals at major events, including a bronze at the Asian Games. One of our own, Ankita, made history by reaching the semi-finals at the Paris Olympics – the best performance by an Indian archer so far. This journey reflects our deep and continued commitment to building sporting excellence in India.

Kit Launch Event
On 2nd October at Fortune Park, East Delhi, Chero Archers will host their official kit launch. All athletes and coaches will be present along with the senior leadership of Tata Steel.
This event will mark the beginning of the team’s journey into the Archery Premier League.
