Tata Steel wins �Tata Affirmative Action Program� Jury Award

Jamshedpur, May 11: Tata Steel has been conferred the �Tata Affirmative Action Program� (TAAP) Jury Award � 2016 for the fourth year in succession.

This year’s TAAP Jury Award has been shared between Tata Steel and Tata Motors. The award was presented by Cyrus P Mistry, Group Chairman, Tata Sons, in Mumbai.

The jury was headed by Dr RA Mashelkar and included Dr Narendra Jadhav, MP Rajya Sabha; Professor S Parasuraman, Director, TISS; B. Muthuraman; Dr Mukund Rajan, member Group Executive Council (GEC); Dr N S Rajan, member GEC and Head of the Group AA Forum.

The results of the Tata Affirmative Action Program (TAAP) Jury Recognition�s – 2016 were announced at the Award ceremony held on May 6 in Mumbai during the annual �TAAP� Affirmative Action (AA) convention. Eighteen Tata companies had taken part in this year�s external assessment.

The TAAP Jury Award is given to companies which cross the score band of 600 (out of 1000) in the assessment process.
