Tata Steel VP Sunil Bhaskaran elected CII Jharkhand Chairman

Jamshedpur, March 4: Sunil Bhaskaran, Vice President (Corporate Services), Tata Steel, has been elected as the Chairman of the Jharkhand State Council for the year 2017-18. Killol Kamani, Managing Director of Samarth Engineering Co Ltd, has been made the Vice Chairman.

This was announced at the Annual Meeting of the CII Jharkhand State Council held at Beldih Club on Saturday.
Both Bhaskaran and Kamani vowed to work hand in hand with the Government of Jharkhand and other stakeholders to help realize its vision of transforming the State into a hub of robust industrial activities, fast growth and all-round development.

“Under the leadership of Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Jharkhand is fast emerging as one of the most investment-friendly destinations in the country and CII is extremely happy to be a close partner in the state’s extraordinary journey.

CII was the National Partner of the hugely successful Momentum Jharkhand, a Global Investors’ Summit which has elicited huge interests from the investors’ community,” said Bhaskaran, adding that CII will continue to work closely with the state government to make Jharkhand a preferred destination for investors.

“We at CII are very optimistic about Jharkhand which is making rapid strides in the industrial space. The state government shows a great sense of urgency and sincerity of intent.

CII will step up its activities to attract greater volume investments across sectors in Jharkhand,” said Killol Kamani, the new Vice-Chairman of CII Jharkhand.

Alongside CII Jharkhand annual meeting, Startup conclave East’2017 was also organized.
