Jamshedpur, June 8: On Wednesday morning, the team of TSUISL and QRT removed the encroachment from Bhuiyadih Gwalabasti under Sitaramdera police station.
There was no protest during the removal of the encroachment. The police of the local police station were also present on the spot. About 30 temporary structures were demolished. Earlier, before removing the encroachment from QRT, an announcement was made through public speaker. After which people became active to remove the encroachment.
Some structures were removed by the encroachers while rest of the structures were demolished by the employees of TSUISL.
It is said that due to encroachment the road leading to Gwala Basti had become narrow. The encroachers were asked to move out earlier also.
Clearing encroachment is a expensive,time wasting & social disturbing affair. How encroachment is growing up & under whose umbrellas are being used in building such illegal constructions need to be varified?
