Jamshedpur, Mar 19: A pivotal public hearing convened at the Adityapur Auto Cluster witnessed a crucial assurance from Tata Steel Utility and Infrastructure Services Limited, (formerly JUSCO), regarding the provision of electricity to “Project The Sapphire”.

During the session facilitated by the Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission to ascertain the electricity distribution rates, Rajesh Singh, Director of M/s Samay Homes, raised concerns about the delayed electricity provision for “Project The Sapphire” situated in Satbohani, Adityapur.

Singh highlighted the prolonged wait for electricity despite fulfilling all requisite procedures and submitting the application. With over 900 units slated for construction in “Project The Sapphire”, the absence of electricity posed significant hurdles for the residents. This issue was particularly poignant as the government emphasizes support for industries and pledges to ensure ample electricity supply.

In response, the Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission clarified that there is no scarcity of electricity. Instead, the delay stemmed from insufficient infrastructure on the part of JUSCO. Both regulatory officials and representatives from JUSCO assured swift action to commence the process of electricity provision to M/s Samay Homes’ “Project The Sapphire”.

Dr. MS Singh Manas, Advisor of Samay Homes, lauded “Project The Sapphire” as one of Kolhan’s premier endeavors, spearheaded by Rajesh Singh, a seasoned civil engineer and director of the company. With the prospect of electricity availability from JUSCO, the project’s demand is expected to soar further, facilitating its growth and contributing to the region’s development.
