Jamshedpur, October 7: With an objective to effectively treat sewage and ensure the safe disposal of wastewater, Tata Steel UISL, inaugurated the state-of-the-art 500 KLD Packaged Sewage Treatment Plant at Oriya Basti, Manifit, Jamshedpur.

The facility was inaugurated by Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President of Corporate Services, Tata Steel, alongside Pranay Sinha, Chief, Corporate Services, Tata Steel. The event was attended by esteemed guests, including Capt. Dhananjay Mishra, Senior General Manager, Town O&M and RE, Sanjeev Kumar Jha, EIC, Water and Wastewater services and Varun Bajaj, Chief, Town Infrastructure & Logistics, Tata Steel.

The facility will cover the Manifit area, benefiting the residents of the location. With a capacity to treat 500,000 liters of sewage per day, the plant will caters to the needs of the local community, making a valuable contribution to enhancing sanitation and hygiene in the area.
