Tata Steel UISL honours sanitation workers on International Women’s Day

Jamshedpur, March 8: Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited (Tata Steel UISL) celebrated International Women’s Day with great enthusiasm, honoring the contributions of women across various fields. The event featured a range of engaging activities, including Tug of War, the Three-Legged Race, and Dumb Charades, with participants showcasing their spirit and sportsmanship.  The winners were felicitated for their enthusiasm and competitive spirit.

The celebration was graced by Ritu Raj Sinha, Managing Director of Tata Steel UISL, as the Chief Guest, along with Raghunath Pandey, President of JUSCO Shramik Union. Their presence added motivation and encouragement to the event.

A special cake-cutting ceremony at Tata Steel UISL, Kalinganagar, further marked the occasion, symbolizing unity and appreciation for women’s contributions.

In a parallel celebration, Tata Steel UISL’s Public Health Services team organized a special Women’s Day event to honor Safai Karmachari women for their dedication and hard work in keeping the city clean. Their efforts were acknowledged and celebrated in a heartfelt tribute.

Overall, more than 250 women’s took part in various activities organised throughout the celebration.

This year’s Women’s Day celebration was a testament to Tata Steel UISL’s commitment to empowering and appreciating women in all spheres of life. The organization remains dedicated to fostering inclusivity, respect, and recognition of women’s contributions.
