Jamshedpur: Tata Steel UISL, with its Public Health & Sanitation (PHS) Department, has bagged the Gold Award at the 7th CII National EHS Awards 2026 under the category “Best Application & Uses of Digitalization & Technology for EHS.”
This prestigious recognition highlights the department’s successful adoption of digitalization in garbage management, significantly strengthening Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) performance across operations. The initiative has notably reduced manual and paper-based processes, enhanced operational efficiency, and ensured greater transparency in sanitation services.
