Jamshedpur, April 25: Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited (TSUISL) marked World Malaria Day with awareness session held today. The event witnessed participation from 290 individuals, underscoring the community’s commitment to combatting malaria.
The event was conducted in presence of Dr Jujhar Majhi, Civil Surgeon, East Singhbhum, Dr A.K Mitra, District Malaria Officer, East Singhbhum, Krishna Kumar, Deputy Municipal Commissioner, JNAC, Ritu Raj Sinha, Managing Director, Tata Steel UISL, and Raghunath Pandey, President, Jusco Shramik Union.
The event aimed to raise awareness about malaria prevention, treatment, and the importance of collective action in eradicating this preventable disease. Through informative sessions and engaging discussions, participants were equipped with knowledge to safeguard themselves and their communities against malaria.
Krishna Kumar, appreciating the initiative, remarked, “It is heartening to see organizations like Tata Steel UISL taking proactive steps to address public health challenges. Together, we can make significant strides towards a malaria-free future.”
