Jamshedpur, Aug 2: Tata Steel Training Centre students conquered 17 medals in different age categories during the 2nd Jharkhand State Ranking Table Tennis Championship at Ranchi during July 26-28. The tourney was organised by the Ranchi District TT Association under the auspices of Jharkhand State Table Tennis Association.
The medals included six Gold, four Silver and seven Bronze. Cadet Archita Dey won three Gold medals including Women event even as over 50 % medals of the championship was won by Tata Steel Training Centre students.
Vibhuti Dhand Adesara, Head Sports (Training Centre & Event Management) met the medal winners and congratulated them. She motivated the players for further improvement in future tournaments.
Coach Apurba Dasgupta and Manager Sports & senior player Dinesh Rakshit were also present in the interaction.
