Jamshedpur, Feb 7: In a recent move against encroachment near the old Karim Talkies in Sakchi, Tata Steel security personnel conducted a drive resulting in the demolition of an establishment owned by Dulal Chandra Pramanik. The shop, which had been in existence for 40 years, was removed as part of the ongoing campaign.

Dulal Chandra Pramanik, who used to operate a kiosk from the shop, expressed shock and dismay over the sudden demolition. He mentioned that there were goods in the shop that were unfortunately ruined during the process. Pramanik further asserted that he received no prior notice about the demolition, and only learned of the action when some individuals informed him about it.

The removal of Dulal Chandra Pramanik’s shop is indicative of Tata Steel’s efforts to address encroachment issues in the Sakchi area. However, the lack of advance notice has raised concerns among affected individuals.
