Tata Steel reinforces its commitment to Safety

Jamshedpur: Tata Steel�s safety campaign on �Elimination of Commonly Accepted Unsafe Practices� (E-CAUP) concluded on November 8 at a formal function held at Steelennium Hall, Jamshedpur Steel Works. This E-CAUP safety campaign was launched on July 12, 2019 to identify the commonly accepted unsafe practices at the workplace, enable suitable engineering solutions, and include them in work practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training systems.

Sudhansu Pathak, Vice President, Steel Making, Tata Steel, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and R Ravi Prasad, President Tata Workers� Union, was the Guest of Honour. Sanjiv Paul, Vice President (Safety, Health & Sustainability), Tata Steel, presided over the function. Chiefs and Heads of various departments, officers and employees, office bearers of Tata Workers� Union, UCMs of Apex Committees, safety professionals and vendor partners were present on the occasion. Employees in other Tata Steel locations joined through video conferencing and the event was webcast live across all locations.
