Noamundi, October 10: A floral tribute was paid to Padma Vibhushan Ratan Tata at Noamundi on Thursday. Ratan Tata (86), chairman emeritus of one of India’s biggest conglomerates, Tata Sons, died at a private hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday night.
The condolence meeting was attended by Atul Kumar Bhatnagar, General Manager (OMQ), Tata Steel, Chiefs and Heads of all departments, employees and representatives of Union.

All the attendees remembered the industry icon and spoke about his contribution and commitment to the society.
Similar condolence meeting was also organised at Vijay II mine, which was attended by its officials and employees.

Some employees recalled their interaction with Ratan Tata, who had visited Noamundi in 2012.
