Tata Steel Jamshedpur: New entry timing for vehicles

Jamshedpur, April 19: Tata Steel management has amended the timing for the entry of two-wheelers in the Jamshedpur plant. As per the new order, the lunch time period has been extended by half an hour. Now the effective time for lunch would be from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm. The heavy vehicles will ply inside the plant from 2.30 pm onwards.

The company had fixed separate timing for the entry of two-wheelers and heavy vehicles in the plant from 14^th April last. After protest by employees and union committee members, the timing has been slightly changed, sources said.

As per the new timing, entry of two-wheelers will be allowed from 5.30 am to 9 am, 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm to 7 pm and 9.30 pm to 10.30 pm. For heavy vehicles, the timing will be from 9 am to 12.30 pm, 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm, 7 pm to 9.30 pm and 10.30 pm to 5.30 am, sources said.
