Tata Steel Jamshedpur: Change in general shift duty hours

Jamshedpur, Dec 8: The general shift timing of Tata Steel employees has been changed. Duty hours for the employees of different departments have been fixed. For the Iron Making Blast Furnace employees, the old timing of 7.30 am to 4.30 pm has been changed to 8 am to 5 pm. The new timing will also be effective for the employees of Iron Making Coke Plant, Sinter Plant and Plate Plant. For Field Maintenance, Mechanical Iron Making employees, the general shift duty timing would be from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm. Earlier, the timing was from 7.30 am to 4.30 pm. The new timings would be effective from 15^th December, said a circular.
