Tata Steel Jamshedpur announces results for 500 trainees

Jamshedpur, March 26: The results of the written examination held on 6^th March last for the recruitment of trainees in Tata Steel from among registered relations of employees/ex-employees of Tata Steel Jamshedpur and Tubes Division, were announced on Saturday. As many as 500 posts are to be filled by the company.

The results have been issued with the roll numbers and reference numbers of successful candidates.

In the notification issued in this regard by the Employment Bureau of Tata Steel, it has been mentioned that the shortlisted candidates would have to undergo a medical test. The successful candidates would be intimated about the medical test date through email, the notification said.

A total of 8000 candidates had appeared for the written test. The successful candidates will have to undergo training for three years after passing the medical test.

At the end of first and second year each, 175 candidates would be employed by the company while in the third year, 150 candidates would be employed.
