Jamshedpur, July 20: The seventh edition ofJohar Haat, a weeklong exhibition organised by Tata Steel Foundation from July 14, 2023 will conclude tomorrow. The exhibition is being organised at Prakriti Vihar in Kadma. In this month’s exhibition, entrepreneurs from Jharkhand and West Bengal, representing over 4 tribes are participating.
This month, the exhibition was be based on the theme of monsoon. Workshops on Kantha Stitch, Terracotta jewellery making, and Healing practices were the major attractions in this edition of Johar Haat.
Johar Haat was conceptualised to create a dedicated space for exhibiting the art, craft, cuisine, and culture of tribes across India through a week-long exhibition every month. The first edition of Johar Haat was organised in January this year.
